"Ben" (don't hate me!)
I've just had a bit of make-over in the blogging department and it wasn't as painful as I thought it might be!
Getting a new look and moving on with The Write Space - for those of you who may not know - is what I'm about this Summer.
Just spent over three hours on my book-in-progress, working title "Ben" and again for those of you who may not know anything about it - you are the lucky ones!
I have a few Facebook friends and those in "real life" if that is the term, who may possibly scream if they hear me mention the name "Ben" again. You see, this book, has been going on for almost three years.
I wouldn't mind, but it's only 250 pages at most - I think. It's a yarn about a young boy who (has problems) goes into another world (space) and reworks out his problems as he hurtles towards Earth in a clap-trap space ship, with two space cadets who are determined to detonate Earth and all it stands for.
As someone very noble in the ways of authorship once said - and I misquote - so don't worry - Chekhov - I think it was (not) (but I use him for all quotes when the brain becomes befuddled) - "No tears in the writer - no tears in the reader." So I say to you good people - and I quote (myself) "No judgement in the writer - no judgement in the reader."
(Sigh and sits back into chair). It's good to be back. :-)
